In their endeavor to take control of 1/6^th of the American economy, the Democrats are taking ownership of the Health Care Bill with 60 Democrat Senators voting YES and 40 Republicans voting NO, at 1:00am Monday morning, when most Americans lay sleep in their beds.

            With millions handed out to Senators who held out their support for the bill, until their Black Mail Tactics pilfered them sweetheart deals, the American majorities shouts of opposition to the Democrat Bill, are ignored.

            It is the American peoples opposition to the Democratic Health Care Bill that has sent Democrats scurrying into dark corners, closed-door sessions and midnight votes.

            But why is it that a Bill, Democrats claimed to be good for the American people, has to be discussed behind closed doors and brides handed out in vast amounts and a vote executed in the dark of night?

This is still America, isn’t it?

When the opposition to something as enormous as the Democratic Health Care Bill is cut out of the debate, and the process is pushed forward by those who are suppose to be the representatives of the average man, in a sense their lobbyist, we no longer live in a country founded in the idea of a Republic or a Democracy. We live in a Dictatorship where the ruling class dictates our lives and the voices of the people, have been silenced.

We had better get use to, not knowing, and accepting what’s handed out to us. The way the Democrats are conducting business in Washington is nothing less than criminal, but since they are the lawmakers, they can create the laws that allow them to do what they do.

The only cure for this disease plaguing Washington is the American people. These midnight votes and backdoor deals and TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION, and this ignoring the will of the people can be cured by the vote of the individual.

I can’t wait for the November 2010 election, when the AVERAGE JOE will remind those in Washington who is really in charge here in America.

When he started appointing czars that were radicals, revolutionaries, and even avowed Marxist/Communist,

When it became known that he had trained ACORN workers in Chicago and served as an attorney for ACORN,

When he appointed a cabinet members and several advisors who were tax cheats and socialist,

When he appointed a science czar, John Holdren, who believes in forced abortions, mass sterilizations and seizing babies from teen mothers,

When he appointed Cass Sunstein as regulatory czar and he believes in "Explicit Consent",harvesting human organs with out family consent, and to allow animals to be represented in court, while banning all hunting,

When he took away student loans from the banks and put it through the government,

  When he designed plans to take over the health care system and put it under government control,

When he set into motion a plan to take over the control of all energy in the United States

through Cap and Trade,

When he finally completed his transformation of America into a Socialist State ,

            Iran is getting ready to implement its horrible plan to conquer the world and spread its ideology, with the aid of nuclear weapons; but it is Israel that stands as the only hope for the world.

            War is imminent and is inevitable.

            The America government is spending more time trying to control the American health care system than they are on the real threats that face America. With our financial system on the verge of collapse, the dollar no longer the currency of choice, China controlling our vast resources through debt, and Obama arrogantly believing his imprudent words yield more power than a weapon of mass destruction, is viewed by world leaders as an injudicious leader…

            …just as the stars where aligned for the election of Obama, they are aligned for America to face a tragedy unlike any in our history. The Iranian Leaders are mad-men determined to wreck havoc on the world while our leaders, here in America, are blinded by their own self-interest, allowing Israel to stand as the only shield between Iran and the rest of the world.

Israel’s safety is threatened more so than that of America, and therefore are being used as a scapegoat by those unwilling step into the leadership role needed to face down the Iranian threat. Israel has been constantly criticized for defending their homeland against those who constantly attack their cities and will be harshly criticized for doing the logical thing to preserve the lives of its people.

            While Iran knows that Obama’s hand’s are not only, tied militarily. But are also too busy positioning themselves in the arrangement of the Mizaru, Kikazaru, Iwazaru monkeys, pretending not to see the evil posed by Iran, or to hear Iran’s promise of death to the Jewish people, and refusing to speak of Iran as that of terrorist nation getting closer and closer to gaining nuclear power.

            Obama came into office with a pledge to reach out to the Iranian leadership, without preconditions. Yet, without the actual physical feat, Iran has thrown a shoe in the face of Obama’s talks. They in fact, have increased their moves toward nuclear capability as well increasing their rhetoric exclamation for the destruction of Israel.

            Israel’s long history of facing off against those who threaten their existence has, I’m sure, taught them that when you have the advantage…

…strike first.

…said our fearless leader, Obama.

If you believe putting ourselves further in debt is the answer to our current economic situation, you are being obtuse.

I ask you, how many of you, when in debt, continue to spend more money than you have in the hope of recovering from your growing debt? Well, those of you who have been able to recover know that it takes a discipline with your money and the cutting back on a great many things to avoid a total collapse of your financial state of affairs.

Spending more, when you are going broke, is exceptional idealism, practiced by Obama and like-minded individuals. Something any reasonable person would find, illogical.

Obama acts like a man on welfare, accustomed to spending other people’s money, without the appreciation of what it would take to have actually earned it. One accustomed to, being given, certain assumed necessities and never having to worry about obtaining them on his own through his own sweat and labor. Unless you consider begging, labor.

Yet the most troubling thing about this spending scenario is the American people, and their disregard for those in Washington, spending our money as if it were monopoly money. The mindset of those who shrug it off as, business as usual, is a product of those who have been beaten over the head with corrupt politicians and a segment of a mindless society on a journey, unsure of the direction in which it wishes to go, guided by a broken moral compass.

Its hard to believe that we Americans have allowed our Representatives to do the things they have done and not insist on true change at the ballot box. We have been obtuse in our duties as Americans, and in doing so, we have allowed our Representative to become arrogant elitists who feel themselves privileged to our hard-earned money, to do with, as they will.

When I see the percentage of those polled who agree with the Government Elitist, and their pilfering actions, I can’t help but wonder whether or not I’m in some sort of Twilight Zone, some sort of Alternate Universe where everything is upside down.

Six figure salaries for those who work for the government have gone up, while the salaries for those in the private sector have gone down. Now, if you can’t see something wrong with that scenario, you are being obtuse. Government work was never meant to line the pockets of those who choose to work within it…

…government should not be BIG BUSINESS.

While many in the country are losing their jobs, many companies are forced to make cuts in personnel; while the Government is adding 10,000 jobs a month, many of which are six figure a year salaries.

When the recession began, the Department of Transportation had only 1 individual making $170,000.00 a year salary. However, now more than1,690 are making $170,000.00 a year.

The Government FAA Chief received a raise of over $170,000.00 a year, while at the same time 1,700 other Government employees received the same $170,000.00 salary increase.

The average salary of people like you and me, the average individual in the private sector, is $40,000.00 a year, while the average salary for a Government employee is $71,000.00 a year.

These individuals in the Government earning these outrageous salaries produce nothing, except paperwork and regulations restricting the rights and privileges of those like you and me. They import or export nothing of value worth trading while receiving their lavish income, yet they can find it within themselves to kill small business growth and choke the life out of large Corporations.

Does any of this make sense to you?

If you say yes, I must ask you…

…don’t be obtuse.

            As I sit back and watch the comings and goings of our new President, I find myself unsurprised by his actions simply because he has, in his short time in office, done all that he indicated he would do, through his words, his actions and his ambiguous explanations for his selected and long associates.

            Allow me to explain what it is I mean.

            In my humble opinion, Obama’s presentation of himself to the American people has covertly in some ways and blatantly in others, stated…

…he openly believes in a form of socialism as indicated by his actions of expanding the role government into the private sector in a way never before done in our history. Obama believes that the government is the answer to what should be a entrepreneurial solution to the current predicament we find ourselves in the grips of. Obama has to understand that the road down which he is attempting to take us will split this country in twain, (that’s in two parts), divided between those who desire the failed state of socialism. And those who still believe that the dream of America, that was once Americas foundation and its reason for being, was based on…

NO TAXATION WITHOUT, REPRESENTATION!

In other words, the government did not have the right to take our hard-earned money and spend it unjustly. So let the new cry be…

NO TAXATION WITHOUT PROPER REPRESENTATION!

Let’s take a look at the man leading this socialist charge in this calculated attempt to erase the glorious history that was America. The man who feels as if he is an adopted child of a nation he now leads does not seem to understand that in every family, hurtful words are spoken; painful acts are committed one against the other. What Obama and those who are likeminded fail to understand, is that the tie that binds Americans, one to the other, is the blood shed along the way. Blood shed by those whose objective was not to change the foundation on which this country was built, but to create a better neighborly understanding of one another in order that the dream that America was built on, will have the chance to be brought to fruition.

Think about the man who has promised the most open government in our history, and I’m sad to say, he has done as he has, and will probably always do, tell the people what they want to hear and clandestinely do the opposite.

But why should we expect honesty, from the man who looked the American people in the eyes and said his relationship with Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn was a casual one, when his first job in law was supplied to him by Bill Ayers wife Beradine Dohrn. And the fact that Obama launched his political career in the home of the man he claims was nothing more than “a guy who lived in my neighborhood”.

I know, I know, just politics as usual. Sure.

Would it shock you to learn that he has based his rise to power on the teachings of Saul Alinsky? Alinsky was a community organizer, like Obama,with extreme radical beliefs that advocated the quiet overthrow of the government through covert means? Now tell me, whey would a man interested in bringing peace and unity to a nation, rely on such teachings?

The same beliefs were the foundation of one openly controversial ‘man of god’ the prominent Rev. Wright who married Obama and is wife, baptized his children and gave such a resounding sermon one day that Obama titled a book based on that very same sermon. The same man who Obama said he could no more disown than he could his own grandmother. Nevertheless, in true Obama fashion, Obama fed this inspiring figure to the wolves when politically expedient. Perhaps the teachings of Alinsky inspire to such behavior. Obama believes that the teachings of Alinsky where profound, and perhaps, just perhaps the perfect model for conquering those whom him and those likeminded individuals believed to be the obstacles, the enemies of their eventual government control and ‘one Party one Leader rule’.

Allow me to stop here and ask you not to think me a conspiracy theorist, just one pointing out widely known, yet ignored, facts.

Allow me to go further in my assumptions.

I dare to say that based on Obamas background he would, no doubt, also have learned the ways of the Muslim method of conquest, Al-Taqiya, and perhaps found them, if anything, intriguing. And I say again, according to Obamas own background and history he would have, no doubt had access to such teachings and beliefs.

This form of revolution allows the believer to become the likeness of the enemy, and if possible, taking on the dress of its enemy while infiltrating that societies elite class. In addition, organizing the dissimilar misinformed who are likeminded in some aspect who would unwittingly play a role in the downfall of that society.

Allow me a poor example…

…the true believer could tell an individual who might be weak in spirit and weak of mind, that the opportunities of that society have been denied them because of either their color, religion or some other ism plaguing that society. While telling that unwitting fool, that he, the masquerading true believer, can fix what is wrong with their society if they were too just believe in his ‘change’ that would fundamentally change everything about that society, for no doubt, the good of that poor misguiding group. While telling the unwitting fool to forget the struggle of its nations past and gains brought on by that struggle, because in spite of the considerable success, the unwitting fool should have more than what this society has given to him and his kind.

The masquerading true believer will speak of change toward a way of life that has been tried and tried again and failed repeatedly. A change where only those in power profit off the backs of the working class, that same working class those in power promised to help. He will dress that wolf up in sheep’s clothing, with lipstick and makeup to boot and those who have been bread to believe somebody owes them something will gather around with their hands out in great anticipation.

People are constantly looking for change, it is human nature to seek the path of least resistance, but America has survived because a great people have tempered that desire with sound reasoning, often treading the rough terrain out of the desire to preserve the spirit that is America. However, the true believer in Al-Taqiya along with those likeminded in power encourages and misdirects the revolt of the working class in order to advance their sinister ends.

If you dare stand up against them, speak against their sinister ends, you will be identified as, well, a racist or some other mania that pits you against the everyday community.

            Now I have no personal insight into the mind of those like Obama, but I can base my opinions on his actions taken. If I were to listen to his words, I would believe that ism’s is a conquerable thing, but history has proven that such a thing is forever impossible, there will always be ism’s. However, with the right leadership, ism’s could be channeled in the right direction, but it would take one who has not spent their life believing in an ism based on divide. Moreover, he would do all he needed to do so that his actions could not be misconstrued as opposite his beliefs, because I strongly believe that, so a man thinks, hidden or otherwise, so he is. A true worshiper of peace will display peace at every turn, not because he is a saint, but simply because he knows that he is an example that he desires others to follow and if he is to achieve such a lofty goal, sacrifices need be made on his part.

            How, many could ask, could Obama believe in the things of someone like a Rev. Wright, Bill Ayers or Saul Alinsky? But then you would have to ask other leaders with grandiose ideas of changing the world, what they where thinking. What if you could ask Hitler what was on his mind in his attempt to fundamentally change the world when he murdered so many Jews, when he himself was part Jewish.

Now I’m in no way comparing the two in any other way except the obvious, so please take that last statement for what it is, a pointed comparison.

America will change, but were we go will depend on the leader we choose to lead. Because we, the people, chose the leader and he succeeds when we, the people, allow him to do so.

            America, you have seen Obama and heard his words and yet many have fallen in love with the idea of the man. And indeed it is a beautiful thing to see, in my life time, a black President. However, what I know about the man disturbs me. Because what if he believes what I think he believes. What if he indeed, plans to revolutionize America into a socialist system? History will show that the first black President led America to an end to what made it great, saying that perhaps, he hated Americas past so much, that he destroyed its future. America is indeed a flawed society, while still possessing greatness based on the doctrines of our founding fathers that granted hope to all, even a black man chained and bound during its inscription.

            Somewhere along the way, those who traversed adversity began to preach the compartmentalizing of a society, disregarding a decade of success born by one leader Martin Luther King Jr. whose preaching’s of peace changed the hearts and minds of millions. Words that led many to believe that in spite of what had occurred in Americas past, or perhaps because of it, America was a nation bound for greatness. But it would appear that the likes of Obama, whose true roots are not based in the struggle of black America, preferred the teachings of the outwardly, and perhaps inwardly, failed Alinsky and the like.

            I beseech you to look for yourself at the man’s actions, and employ you to study his words. And if there is anything within you that loves America, in spite of itself, will find that hope and change in which the likes of Obama plan to transform this country into, is a different direction in which so many who have come before us, died for, is not the country in which they paid the ultimate price. They did not die so that we would one day give over our freedoms to the government. We are American, the home where the people rule and those in government work for us.

            But it’s up to you, so I ask…

            Obama put General McCrystal in Command, he instructed him to go out into the field, assess the situation, and come back with a report detailing how to win the war in Afghanistan.

            However, there was buzz in Obama’s ear. Something was telling him that he had to actually make a decision, he couldn’t vote present this time, he would have to be the one to pick the direction an entire military, a nation, would go. There was no Military Czar to appoint who could take the blame, if his decision happens to be wrong. Therefore, a man with borrowed audacity, who never had to walk a tight rope without a net, has found stepping out on that thin line, without some sort of security beneath him, a bit challenging.

            If you listen to the political spin, spun by the Obama administration, he has a million reasons why he can’t commit the needed troops to the Afghanistan theater, his political reasoning has moved into position and his common decency has fell silent. Obama is a man limited to teleprompted speeches, whose words have been carefully scripted, to appear intellectual.

Obama is like an empty tub, if words are spoken through it, they sound grand and strong. Yet it is but an empty tub, that merely amplifies the words of others.

            His speech before the troops in Alaska was condescending…

"I will not risk your lives

unless it is necessary to America's vital interests,"

he said.

"And if it is necessary,

the United States will have your back."

            The most pitiful portion of that statement is, “…the United States will have your back.”

            Why should any of the troops in Alaska, or any serving in the military, listening to the words of Obama, believe a one of them?

There are troops on the ground, right now, in Afghanistan whose General has asked for reinforcements, and has been turned down by the President of the United States, Barack Obama, the same man who said…

“…the United States will have your back.”

            Well, in one aspect he is absolutely correct, those fighting for the United States of America can rest assured that we, the Amerian People, will indeed have the backs of our fighting men and women…

            However, what they need to be concerned about…

With 13 dead, and the killers words,…

“ALLAHU AKBAR!”

…still ringing loudly in the ears of eyewitnesses, Obama said…

“…I would caution against jumping to conclusions…”

            Well, the only conclusion any reasonable person could possibly come to, is that a terrorist act took place on an American military installation, by a Muslim jihadist masquerading as a soldier.

            Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan cleaned out his apartment, said goodbye to those he knew and stepped out with two handguns and killed 13 individuals going about their day to day, feeling safe behind the guarded gates of Fort Hood, unsuspecting danger dressed in a military uniform with US Army stamped on it.

            The times we live in now are trying; the fact that our adversaries, to see how we stand when pushed, are testing us is obvious. The terrorists that mean us harm, are counting on their surrogates to inflict as much damage as they can, when they can. The terrorists are putting out the word, in the many formats available in today’s society and counting on at least one follower to commit a bloody act that garners attention and brings more attention and recruits to their cause. It is getting so that none of these like-minded individuals need ever meet in the same place, the idea of Jihad is one the individual can feel and act upon with complete individualism.

            Already, certain aspects of the media have begun to ignore the horrible act committed by this terrorist, Hasan. They have begun to focus more on how Hasan had been treated by his fellow soldiers prior to his murderous rampage, thus attempting to offer up an excuse for this mass murder. Well, at least it is good to know that those in the media spewing this nonsense are either on news channels or in newspapers with very low viewers or readers.

            When a man robs a bank, we call him a bank robber. When a man embezzles millions from the unsuspecting, we call him an embezzler. When a man arms himself with two semi-automatics and walks into a crowd of unsuspecting people and screams “Allahu Akbar” and opens fire, killing 13, knowing full well, he himself will be shot and possibly killed, I don’t believe it would be, “jumping to conclusion” to believe that the man is a terrorist.

            If it walks like a Jihadist, quacks like a Jihadist, it must be a Jihadist.

            My belief and pride in the American people, have been rejuvenated. Just when I began to believe that, those on the East side of America had abandoned the American beliefs, which actually originated in the East, Eastern Americans showed Constant and Determination to the rest of America; they showed that American grit still exists.

            That those in Washington are listening showed immediately, as if with precognition to the outcome of yesterdays elections before the ballots were counted, Senator Reid stepped behind a microphone and all but assured Americans that the Health Care Takeover, would have to wait until next year.

“We’re not going to be bound by any timelines,” said Majority Leader Harry Reid (D), referring to Obama’s demand to have a Health Care Bill passed by the end of the year. However Reid (D) will have a hard time being reelected himself in 2010, and took note of what happened in the Vote of 2009.

            The once slumbering American Spirit has awakened and found its country heading toward a cliff in a fast moving vehicle, and a radical’s foot pushing hard on the pedal, with little or no indication that the radical sees or even cares about the dangers approaching.

            I believe the 2008 vote that put Obama in office was an anomaly, unlike what took place in Virginia and New Jersey of 2009. Charles Krauthammer said it best, in the 2008 election “the stars where perfectly aligned for the Democrats.”

So Americans ignored the obvious and hoped for change, of the unrealistic kind, only to find themselves threatened by nuclear armed dictators roaming the world, record high unemployment, and an economy teetering. Not to mention engaging in a war were the new Commander-in-Chief enacted a new war strategy, with a newly appointed General. Only to ignore the recommendation set forth by his General, and express his understanding of what victory is by describing it this way…

“I’m always worried about using the word ‘victory,’

because, you know, it invokes this notion of

Emperor Hirohito coming down

and signing a surrender to MacArthur.”

I thought our victory over the Japanese was a good thing.

At any rate, the American Spirit lives within the heart of America, and a shot has been fired over the bow of the political ship filled with elitist, who judge themselves above the fray.

These Untouchables have been warned.

But who listens to a nobody like me? I’m just a voice crying in the wilderness, torn by the turn in which my country has taken. Frightened for the future of my children and the country I will leave them.

I can’t fight on the battle field because my diabetes prevents me from doing so, or as God is my witness, I would be there. My wife and I have just enough money to support our family, pay our mortgage, put food on the table and give what we can, to what we believe, when we can.

I like to write, and though I am no Thomas Sowell, Charles Krauthammer or Bill Kristol, I have an opinion, and have believed for a long time that one voice, one vote, can make a difference.

So ignore me if you will politicians. Call me a radical for attending a Tea Party, accuse me of being mere Astroturf and a wearer of swastika’s, that’s fine. When me, and other silent majority such as myself, are done selecting our candidates in 2010…

            How is it that more than half of the American public disagree with what’s going on in Washington, the Takeover Of Health Care By The Government, can go unheeded by our, Government Funded Representatives?

            Ideology…

            The power hungry in Washington understand that once they get their claws into the Health Care System, they will control 1/6^th or more, of the American economy. In that, they will control so much of our financials that they will control our very lives. They will add more money to their kitty and control more and more of those willing to do anything for a buck, or those who are in such great need that they can’t do without the government aid. And not to mention, a large group of people inevitably becoming dependent on that Government assistance. If you doubt that, take a look at those living on welfare.

            The first step toward socialism, is a dependence on Government medical care. It’s easy and on its face, it’s free. However, when taxes are raised to match that of Canada, the mindset of Americans could become one of complacency.

Hell, I cannot believe that the minority of those who agree with this Government Takeover are not outraged that we start paying NOW! for a Health Care System that will not go in effect until 2015!

            Americans have been fighting against this Health Care Takeover for a great many years. Click, Ronald Reagan  to hear him speak out against Socialized Medicine in 1961.

            We defeated it then, we can defeat it again.

            If you think that they will cut waste, stop fraud and never intrude on our day-to-day living, you are a fool.

            There is not one example of a US Government program that runs efficiently, not one. For Christ Sake, they cannot even get a flu vaccine ready in time to vaccinate the American public, let alone control a Health Care Program.

I know, Obama said it is the manufactures fault.

Right!

I thought Obama was the President, the Leader of the free world.

When he passes the buck like that, he’s acting like a ‘Man-child’. He is providing all the proof any should need to realize that allowing the Government to take charge of our Health Care System, is giving power to those who are willing to blame all others for the eventual failure forthcoming in this massive Takeover.

The ideology of those in Washington is that Government is the answer, when our Founding Fathers knew, from experience that, not Government, but the people are the answers to those things that trouble us. The Founding Fathers understood that if you had an idea, present it to the people, if the majority agrees, then it can be enacted. If it fails to incorporate the majority, then it needs to halted and re-presented so that those who failed to grasp its meaning could have time too better understand it, and perhaps persuaded.

If a man in Washington tells you he knows better than the People do, fear that man, for he thinks more of his ideology, than what the people think.

I refuse to believe that this Health Care Bill will get through Washington, for I believe more in the American People, than any Power Hungry Politician sitting high upon the hill in Washington, looking down at the American people with contempt for daring to disagree with what he thinks is best for the masses.

            This article is in no way an endorsement to any religion, but merely an effort to point out the understanding of a lie. An attempt to get you to see that the understanding of a lie dates back to the days when the meaning of a lie could be highlighted in one of the most famous and most read books in history, the bible.

            If you are not a religious person, please look at this as a well-written story that attempted to get all to see that, the lie is an old trick, which if worded correctly, could convince the most naive or innocent, to avoid the truth, when presented in a desirable manner. All the liar has to comprehend, are the wants and desires of the flexible, and all he has to do then, is twist and turn his lie, so that it becomes pleasing to the wants of the excepting ear.

            According to the bible, Satan, the Devil, authored the lie. His tongue was as smooth as silk and with his ability to speak with such conviction, he was able convinced the knowledgeable to doubt what they knew to be truth.

            It was Satan, who promised that men could become gods if they would only go against that which they knew to be forbidden. Satan was able to convince those who lived in Paradise that Paradise, was anything but.

            So you have to ask the question, why would those who lived in Paradise, choose to be cast out of this perfect place? Why would they believe the lie, why would they throw away a life that had been good to them, a life that provided all they could ever ask for?

            Well, in its simplistic reasoning, it was because of the promise, rooted in a lie.

            Satan promised Eve she would not die, that her eyes would open, that she would be equal to her God, and that she would know, good and evil.

            Eve was naïve and had lived in bliss for far to long, she could not find it in herself to believe that anyone would lie to her. Life was easy, outside of the normal day to day activities and challenges a day might bring, she believed that nothing would ever take her away from the only life she had ever known. And possibly she believed, that if it did change, how bad could it be?

            Americans, living in the comfort of a society built on the backs of many. From every walk of life many have come to partake in the fruit of America’s tree. A society not perfect, but the youth of our nation and the possibilities ever present, leaves the rest of the world wanting and desiring what we have, and yet…

            …many Americans dare to dream of, recreating, our society based on nothing more than a lie. A lie, told over and over again, until many have come to believe it to be true.

            Our history is marred in bloodshed, a history similar to ever other great society throughout history. So you see, we are no different in our creation than any other society, except in one respect. From pauper to prince is common to any one willing to put forth the effort to achieve. Nothing is guaranteed, except, the hope and the opportunity. The rest is up to the individual and even then, not guaranteed.

            So why, I ask, have so many Americans begun to believe the great lie?

            Are we truly an arrogant nation, with a history so vile that a total makeover of our society is necessary? Has America oppressed so many, that we can ignore the, so many, that have walked away from an oppressed living, that we should reshape our society.

            I am one who lived his entire life, a poor man; I have never been able to live beyond that of a middle class individual. I am one rich in friends and family but poor in finances, so my value lies within those around me, and I’m OK with that. I was born poor and have lived from paycheck to paycheck my adult life. It was my mother who taught me that if you want something, she would say, “find a way to get it because I can’t help you. Besides, it’s your life, find a way to get what you want. Just do it respectfully,” she pleaded. “Because you reap what you sow,” she warned.

            According to many, the color of my skin should have put limitations on me that forbid me from ever do so many of the things I’ve done in my life, and yet here I am, the experienced one.

            I fell in love with America a long time ago, in a time when many men of color where rebelling and criticizing…

…except one.

Martin Luther King Jr.

Criticize he did. Rebel, he did not. Dr. King did not go about selling the lie of how terrible America was. He spoke of the goodness and possibilities this nation had to offer. He was a black man, unable to sit at the front of a bus, or eat in certain diners, or drink from a given water fountain and yet he found the right and goodness, in America.

Remember that the Devils lie is geared toward your weaknesses’. It tells you what you want to hear and promises you that, all you need do is eat from the forbidden tree and all will be made right. Only a fool would dare believe such foolishness.

If it promises you something for nothing, it is a lie.

If it destroys opposition to its belief, then it is hardly anything worth believing in.

If it promises the same for Paul as it does for Peter, then you have to believe that Paul and Peter are, one and the same.

If a man lies to you, and you believe his lie and you later find his lie to be untrue, shame on him…

…if he lies to you a second time and you find it be untrue and you believe him again, shame on you.

In the history of the world, no nation has done what American has done, in such a short period of time. So, without doubt, one has to believe that the success of this nation is based on a philosophy founded in truth.

So ask yourself, is eating of the tree in the midst of the garden worth it? Do we hand over our freedom of self to a government that is all self-serving?

…we are not gods, just simple beings with self-determining rights. Rights that should never be taken away by anyone. Let alone, given away freely by the individual.

I would rather be a fisherman who goes home some nights without a catch, after a long day of casting my line, than one who waits in line for a fish dinner to be portioned out to me, by a server who draws a paycheck based on my need to eat.

            I think it’s the fact that I’ve lived long enough to see my country change dramatically over the last 10 years. Being born in a time when America struggled to find itself amidst ingrained hatred amongst its people. I’ve seen America grow from an infancy state of mind, a society new to the idea that America was truly a melting pot. I grew up listening to leaders, in all spectrums; speak of America as the greatest country ever formed, in the history of the world.

            America was the envy of the world, the one place where people that lived in the most remote parts of the globe, desired to come and take part in the fruits of prosperity America had to offer.

            Our leaders, in the past, understood that America was no paradise, but a home with promise, and hope.

            Then something happened.

            Christmas became controversial and Christianity was ridiculed. The pledge of allegiance no longer had any meaning and the American flag became a thing dropped on the ground and left to rot where it lay, no longer the symbolism of a great nation.

            The Constitution became a, living thing, which had little significance to those who no longer desired to abide by its principles, except when it suited their purpose.

            Newly settled immigrants to America had little desire to become an American, but instead, insisted that America become similar to that which they desperately escaped.

            Some Americans, whose roots run deep into the American soil, began to feel that change was needed, that our now wealthy society could transform from one that demanded individual responsibility to one where, it is never, my fault.

            Nearly every living being desires a comfort, an ease that affords them the opportunity to live life with less troubles and more of everything, than they probably deserve.

            A segment of our society has realized the value in, minimal conflict. The world has become so vast with human life, that those who deem minimal conflict a commodity prey on society by stirring discord between groups in order to line their pockets. And with so many people reveling in the comfort, that is America, and unwilling to think for themselves, these minimal conflict promoters have swooped down on a feast of willing sheep.

            In the history of the world, great societies have come and gone, the history books are full of places that at one time flourished with life and prosperity, only to be now, history lessons read about in classes rooms with students who fail, for the most part, to grasp the true meaning of the lessons taught them. Noteworthy lessons taught by teachers who feel themselves more important than the lessons taught. Teachers instructing young minds that the great figures in history, had issues. Issues, which, according to the teachers input, minimized the great things accomplished, failing to remind them that had not that, issued laden individual completed that undertaking, none of us would be alive today.

            I believe in America, in spite of most Americans. For I believe that the same spirit that ran through the deep innermost part of our Founding Fathers, runs through me, a descendant of American slaves.

            The world is watching us; a maniac with power is watching us somewhere. They are wondering if our Republic can stand. I’m willing to bet the farm, that the demise of America is, a mouth watering desire, for those who despise us, for their own selfish reasons.

            We now live in a society where a milestone has been achieved; we have our first black President. It is a sad thing however, that his heart is not like that of a Martin Luther King Jr. Even though he has often tried to convince the world that he is similar to other great leaders, like Abraham Lincoln, with only so little time in which he has served, speaks of a man immersed in egocentricity.

            A man who often proclaims himself a legend, believes so in his own mind. And will do whatever it takes to preserve that emotional state of mind.

            Obama is like Henry Fords Quadricycle, his first self-propelled gasoline driven vehicle, not the first vehicle in the world to run on gas, nevertheless, a first for Henry Ford. It was no doubt an accomplishment for Ford, but it was simply an idea that led Ford to believe he could do better.

            Many in the American society believe they have accomplished a great thing in electing the first black President, in spite of his ideology and our current economic situation. They are content to blame any and everything on the past administration, while our current leader is content to foster that belief. His bungling attempts to mesmerize the world with his mere presence, has him looking the part of a mark to serious men with unstable mental conditions.

            On 9-11-01, I was afraid for my country, but when I looked into the eyes of President Bush and Vice-President Cheney, I knew that those who had attacked our country would pay the ultimate price. I felt safe.

            Not now, not today.

            Our President cares more about attacking a News Organization than he does our true enemies. Actually, I believe he knows more about attacking a News Organization than he does about our true enemies.

I believe Obama is the wrong man, at the wrong time.

But it appears that Americans, after hearing the eloquent and smooth tongue of this fallacious organizer, the cry went out throughout the nation, or at least to a percentage or two above the majority, give us this Quadricycle in “any color…”

“…so long as it’s black.”

Most wanted a black President, I wanted a black President. But the standard by which Obama was elected is based little on qualification, and more on supposed justification.

America is now picking our leaders based on image.

            Obama can’t seem to make up his mind about sending troops requested by his appointed General to Afghanistan, but he can take time out of his busy schedule to meet with members of his administration to map out a coordinated strategy to attack the Fox News Channel.

            Obama is willing to shake hands with Hugo Chavez and exchange reading materials, or to sit down with Ahmadinejad without pre-conditions, but refuses to sit down with Chris Wallace of Fox News Sunday to answer a few, tough questions.

            Does any one else find this a bit disturbing?

            Obama seems angrier with Fox News than he is at those killing our men and women in uniform over seas.

So I wonder, is Obama’s priorities mixed up?

Did he actually believe that he could step into office and attempt to implement the things he’s attempting to force feed the American people and no one would dare challenge him?

Did anyone tell him before he took office that this was America, the most powerful nation on the planet?

Did anyone think to mention to him that the nation he called “arrogant” earned the right to be the most powerful nation, not because we had a government dictating our every move, but because our every individual move, forced our government to listen to the people.

What would ever make him believe that he could attack Fox News in a conceited attempt to minimize an organization who, in 2009, stands alone as a news source dedicated to telling the American people the truth?

Fox news did it with the previous administration, they gave far and balanced coverage and forced people like myself, to question an administration in which I had faith.

Attack Fox News, what a foolish thing to do.

Our economy is in shambles, our unemployment rate is at 10%, and we have soldiers dying in a foreign land. And Obama would much rather spend time trying to force feed Americans a Health Care Bill that would further push our economy into a downward spiral. And would dare get angry at Fox News, and try to convince the American people that the only news organization willing to ask him how we could possibly afford putting millions more people into a Health Care program already going bankrupt and it not cost us any more money than we already give to the government.

God, I think Obama and his administration actually believe we, the American people, are just plan ole’ stupid.

Obama, leave Fox News alone and start worrying about doing what you where elected to do.

Nevertheless, if you can’t find it within yourself to be the President, then put responsible people in place to do the job for you and you just walk around and make speeches…

…and at least act Presidential.

            I have listened to the Rush Limbaugh show for years and understand that he is a tough cookie when it comes to those who fail to follow the Conservative platform. I have listen to him go after both Democrat and Republican with equal zeal when they failed to follow common sense rules of governing. But what I’ve never heard, is Rush say anything about any person or group of people, that was not true. And more to the point, I’ve never heard Rush Limbaugh say anything racist about a black person.

            But here was a chance to for some to make the media spotlight, when it was found out that Rush Limbaugh was about to take part ownership in a football team, somebody encouraged someone to say something about nothing…

            …and off to the races went the likes of Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, an exclusive black club of so-called leaders who claim their mission in life is to ride the world of racism, when in all actuality, they have done more to damage the black / white relationship than any has in modern times.

            After the death of Martin Luther King Jr. and the pain and hurt that followed began to subside, America had an opportunity to put black and white racism in a bottle and cast it out to see, if only some brave soul with a Dream similar to that of Dr. King had come along.

However, that was not the case.

            Men with self-serving purpose rose out of the ashes of the Civil Rights fallen dead, and used the word RACIST, to intimidate and manipulate there way into money and power.

No doubt giving a morsel back to the community out of which they came, like a man would his bones, giving what’s left out of the meat of their profits. All the while continually convincing others that, whites once held their ancestors as slaves and are, and always will be, the fault and purpose for whatever bad happens to them in their life.

These protectors against the racist have learned to work within system; they have learned the use of that, perfect word, to express themselves and their point of view, scouring the dictionary in order to find the right word to call a rose, by any other name. Avoiding, when convenient, snaring themselves with their own tactics. And should they find themselves trapped, out comes the trump card, RACIST. Whoever dared contradict, enlighten, or point-out their flaws, they pull the trump card, time and again.

            In a world where casting a stone means you might shatter your own house, we have become afraid to point out the flaws of others, no matter how grievous the others might be.

If only there where evil people somewhere,

insidiously committing evil deeds,

and it where necessary only to separate them

from the rest of us and destroy them.

But the line dividing good and evil
