As I sit back and watch the drama of AIG play out in Washington and the lies told by Democratic Senator Dodd, Treasury Secretary Geithner and President Obama, I cannot help but look on in amazement at how dumb and gullible the American public have become. Any reasonable person would look at those involved and say, enough is enough.

            How many times must a man lie to you before you finally realize the inner workings of the man? How many times must he say one thing and do another before you realize, that when his words point in one direction, his actions have already begun a journey in the opposite?

            Politicians should never be allowed too overtly lie to you, our give lame excuses for that lie without paying a cost. Because if you give a politician an inch, he tends to feel, he can go the mile. He begins to use your ignorance and frailty-of-self to make you believe he has done nothing wrong, when in fact he is waist deep in sleaze.

However, you cannot see the lie because you want to believe the lie; you need to believe the lie because you have invested so much into the lie.

            Obama has been able to deflect a number of seemingly small lies, and has gone virtually unchallenged; he has never allowing himself to be questioned unless the questioner was controlled, in one form or another.

Now to me, this says that the man has something to hide, some part of him, he refuses to allow the world to see. I am a former Police Officer whose own personal life experiences have taught me to look into a person eyes, to look at his jester, or to look at his bodies mannerisms when he speaks, in my search for the real answers.

My experience tells me that Obama, with or without his teleprompter, is very accustomed to lying.

Now, I’m forced to ask…

Why?

            Have you ever read the book, Animal Farm by George Orwell? Well Obama’s administration reminds me of that book. The pigs in that book had an agenda and presented hope and change to the other animals on the farm. The pigs said that if they could just get rid man and the ‘old ways of doing things’ life would be better and every animal would be taken care of. The pigs promised that life would be different, and that the old way of doing things would cease to exist. However, as the years past, the other animals realized that they still lived out in the cold and in the barn, and that they worked as many hours as they had under the rule of man and perhaps worked longer and harder.

            They realized that nothing had change, except…

            …who they worked for.

            So I ask you, what has Obama changed since the Obama administration has taken over? He is the President of the United States whose authority is far reaching and acted upon expeditiously and yet…

            The prisoners are still in Gitmo because thy have nowhere to go except maybe to a city or neighborhood near you. The troops are still in Iraq, because not even Obama would leave an ally holding the bag without fear of labeling himself as, untrustworthy in an unstable world. Moreover, our economy has neared the brink of collapse since his promise of change was instigated.

            Remember,

            When you allow a politician too overtly lie to you on a regular basis, he feels a sense of authority and privilege to lie to you again, and again.

It is human nature.

He becomes, in a sense, your taskmaster who demands more and more until there is nothing else to give. Moreover, the hope of change is ultimately nothing more than heartache and misery for those who dared to hope. In addition, the generations that followed are left with a vague memory of what life once, had been.

            Allow me to compare a few of Obama’s pledges, or commandments if you will, to that of a fictional book written in 1945 and let you be the judge as to where Obama’s mindset might be and where blind loyalty might lead. Of course, you will need to know that those I am comparing Obama’s too, well, their story did not end so well. So imagine if you will, America no longer as you now see her, but something else entirely, simply because we stopped believing in who we are and let ourselves be lied too and maneuvered into something other than what we where meant to be:

1A. Obama’s Commandment

• Obama Promise - No lobbyist will work in my administration!

• Broken Promise – Lobbyist can work in my administration but will not be able to work as a lobbyist on whatever legislation they preside over after term of service.

1B. Pigs Commandment

• Pigs Promise - No animal shall sleep in a bed.

      •   Broken Promise -No animal shall sleep in a bed with sheets.

2A. Obama’s Commandment

• Obama Promise – I will not sign a bill loaded with Earmarks.

• Broken Promise – The more than nine thousand Earmarks in the Stimulus Bill are not to be called Earmarks because they where not added at the last minute.

    2B. Pigs Commandment

• Pigs Promise - No animal shall drink alcohol

• Broken Promise – No animal shall drink alcohol to excess.

     3A. Obama’s Commandment

• Obama Promise – I don’t really know Bill Ayers, he was just a guy in my neighborhood.
• Broken Promise – Obama began his political career in the home of Bill Ayers.

3B. Pigs Commandment

• Pigs Promise - All animals are equal.
• Broken Promise – All animals are equal and some are more equal than others.

Remember Americans, no matter how much you proclaim to love someone, should they think lying to you is the way to achieve happiness…

…then its not you, they love.
